rachelYes I am proud that my silouette is curvy. Thanks for asking though. outfit or lack there ofRachel wasn't exactly an all too innocent girl. She loved to party and she loved to dance and sing. She also loved toying with boys. Boys were a favorite past time of hers. They were just so predictable. They all had the same lines. They all had the same train of thought. They all wanted one thing and one thing only. It was a simple little three letter word. Not that she really minded all that much. She knew that she liked it. She didn't deny that. She knew how to get it to. She normally always got it when she wanted it all having the boys think that they were in control when really they weren't. It was a minid game that helped her with the thrill. It was never the boys.
So when someone put their hands on her hips she wasn't all that surprised. It was almost as if it was all on cue. The grip was definatley male. She normally didn't get sneak attacked by females for whatever reason that was. He could feel the person up behind her and she judged him to be a couple of inches taller then her as they were about on equal height with her in her shoes. She always did love a tall boy. Though she wasn't tempted to make another move just yet. Maybe depending on what he did next she would try a little something. Maybe he would get lucky tonight. And so the game began.

YOU SAY I'M NOT YOUR TYPE BUT I CAN MAKE YOU SWAY IT MAKES YOU BURN TO LEARN YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE.
he asked trying to sound serious though not being able to keep a straight face as he twirled her around so that he could actually look at her. There wasn't really any reason behind why he didn't take to her more, he just wasn't very good at remembering that people needed some from of communication to know who you are . He'd simply didn't do that a lot. To Alek, many people were disposable. He didn't need to get attached usually, nor was he overly concerned about hurting feelings. In New York it seemed like there were two key things people were always looking for, a new relationship and a good take-out restaurant. Alek just did what he wanted to, people were people it was all the same really. Everyone else was just looking way to much into it and building things up to mean a lot more than they ever would. " Its just a free drink, harmless really" he said in the ever pleasent care free tone, never one to force himself onto other people. If she had somewhere else to go, his pockets would just be a little lighter and he'd forget about it withen in the hour. [ooc: meh not that great a little rushed][/ul]

Rachel quite liked the fact that he didn't try to grind up against her or anything like that. Being spun around even added a bit to the cliche findings of a guy in the club. Maybe this one had a bit of class. She was even being offered a drink. Though she she was spun around she found out who was offering her the drink. She had to laugh a bit at Alek. She didn't think that she was his type beyond anything other then a little casual flirting. Maybe that's all the drink would represent. Maybe. Maybe not. She wasn't sure with him. This was one of the guys that were a little harder for her to read.
"When have I ever turned down a free drink?" she asked him. It was true that she never turned them down. She might have given them away to someone else that she was with so that she wouldn't get drunk off her ass and then end up regretting it the next day, but other then that she always accepted a free drink. It was bad karma in her mind not to accept one. Then there was the harmless part of what Alek had said that stuck out in her mind a little bit. Nothing was ever harmless when a guy was concerned. She learned that lesson the hard way. "Lead the way." [ooc; sorry it's not longer but i'd rather not give you a paragraph of padding to read.]

he said with a grin, probably seeming overly eager but he was really just glad to have found someone to spend a bit of time with. It was so much easier than taking your chances on the people here. There was no doubt that he liked all the people, but he'd take a friend over some random half drunk most of the time. Things were more fun when no one was worrying about whether they were making a good impression or not. Grabbing on to her hand, pulling her along through the crowd of people, deciding that there was no real reason to try and navigate any other way. This was simple and if he could randomly grab onto her from behind, then this was a walk in the park. " What do you want?," he asked when he had finally managed to get them all the way back to the bar, only to then realized he had no idea what she actually drank. You'd think it might have occured to him earlier, but Alek rarely met expectations with things like that. Looking from her to the bartender who apparently didn't like to be kept waiting, it was obvious to see that most people wondered why they were hanging around each other. They didn't exactly look like two people that had very much in common let alone a reason to want to talk. Apperances could be decieving though and frankly he didn't need a reason to talk to someone. [ooc: hardcore rushed i work tomorrow, figured id give you something before then ][/ul]

Being led around wasn't so bad. Rachel could have been dealing with way worse people then who she was in the current moment most of whom were probably in the building. Besides it was a lot easier doing things this way then trying to walk through a crowd seperately. They probably would have been seperated and then nothing would come of her night and everything would have been for nothing essentially. So this was all at least good thinking on Alek's part. If she hadn't known Alek, she'd probably just end up going in the opposite direction free drink or no free drink.
When it came to her alcohol, Rachel was actually a rather simple person. She knew what she liked and she wasn't a 'girly drinker.' The really pretty frou frou drinks had never been for her no matter how much her friends got her to try them. She was Russian through and through. So when it came to her alcohol it was normally good vodka or in a rare occasion beer, but the beer had to be exceptionally good. She smiled at the bartender to try and put him in a better mood. "House vodka straight up," she said. She wasn't sure if her choice would surprise Alek or not and she normally didn't care. She liked things pure and simple and things didn't get much more simple then straight up vodka in her mind.
